EU Coordination Meetings at Expo 2020 Dubai November 17, 2021 During the World Exhibition „Expo 2020 Dubai“, EU Coordination meetings were organized on a weekly basis, so that the Member States could coordinate their activities in a timely manner, launch joint initiatives and promote the European Union and its values. The representatives of the Croatian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai participate in weekly coordination meetings and contribute to joint activities of member states. During the meetings held on November 4th, 11th, and 17th, 2021, the Member States discussed the joint promotion of weekly events and offers in the pavilions of the Member States and the importance of good communication and coordination between the Member States in order to avoid overlapping events. Member States agreed on the importance of promoting European values, which is why the following activities have been launched: scanning a QR code that has been designed to be shared in the pavilions of the Member States will launch an application showing all Member States and their specificities. Also, the Republic of Croatia proposed the production of promotional materials for the youngest visitors of the World Exhibition. Member States’ posts can be found on social networks At each meeting, Member States have the opportunity to announce planned events in their pavilions and invite other participants to participate and connect delegations and entrepreneurs from the Member States coming to the World Exhibition as part of the thematic weeks.
